Location
Our apartment in Schladming is ideally located for both winter ski and summer mountain activity holidays, both of which are catered for exceptionally well. Schladming is not a mountain village, but a town with much history. It sits at the centre of the Dachstein-Tauern region in the green heart province of Steiermark (Styria), close to the border with the province of Salzburg.

Building
- Recently built (late 2007) adjacent to the town gate
- Ground floor storage for skis and boots
- Dedicated parking space at rear

Ski World Championships
The Ski World Championships in 2013 will be held again in Schladming.
Ski Lifts
Our apartment is a few minutes’ level walk from both the main Planai ski lift and from the Planai West and Hochwurzen Ski lifts.
Shopping, Eating and Drinking
Town centre shopping, restaurants and bars are two minutes’ walk - ideal whether you are catering in or eating out. Schladming has a number of supermarkets, including a small one on the corner opposite our apartment. A baker is also opposite.

A sports shop through the town gate sells, rents and services skis and has a full range of sports clothing and equipment.
Après Ski
Ski the mountains by day, relax and enjoy the town centre for après-ski later with numerous bars and restaurants, including a lively main square (Hauptplatz).
